The first sounds of Rock&Roll produced in Holland was by "Indos", the Dutch-Indonesians who, after they fled their homeland Indonesia when it became independent of Holland, built a new life for themselves in Holland.

Through culture clashes, affinity with black-American guitar-orientated music and their 'Asian touch', a unique sound developed, that grow into the best Europe had to offer. The Indo-rockbands played loud, rough and with speed, but also with a lot of sensitivity.
